Like the title says tell everyone here a little about yourself.
My name is Laura and I'm a...oh, wait, wrong meeting place. My bad.
I started writing back in 2009 when I decided to put some of our role plays down on paper. They were supposed to be just descriptions, but I ended up giving the roles actual personalities and dialogue...next thing you know I was writing a story.
I published my first e-book, the all time classic Weekends with Laura (not this Laura dammit) in March of 2011 and since then have published about a 130 not counting anthologies.
Most of you here know me from twitter and Carnal Pleasures where my reputation is the self proclaimed 'Mistress of the Taboo' however I've written in many 'kinks' Lesbian, Group, Hotwife, Milf, BDSM, some fetish material and erotic horror
I have a second pen name L.L. Craft to keep my more serious writing-the horror novels and a BDSM series-separate from all the mommy porn.
My influences other than porn, are heavy metal, horror, and classic 80's exploitation movies. I spit on your grave is the best movie ever I tell you!

All right, here we go:
My name is Alana, and I'm a pornographer.
Well, at least I write sexy stories and sell them on the internet.
I'm from downstate Illinois (which is what people here in Chicago call anyplace in Illinois that ISN'T Chicago. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Education. Four years later, I left the education profession, since the only alternative was to strangle one of the little bastards. I settled in the Chicago suburbs, and i now work in the telecom industry.
I have wanted to be a writer since I was a teenager. I had started several books, but never progressed very far, since I had no confidence in my own abilities.
It was Literotica that, in a strange way, kicked me into publishing. About three years ago I started a short story, convinced that I could write something better than the standard fare on Lit. Well, it started out as a short story. It eventually grew into a 180-page behemoth.
I looked at the finished product and thought, "This is actually good enough to publish. For money!" A post on Lit's author boards brought me into contact with Laura. She helped put me in touch with Jo at Boruma. A few weeks later, "The Guardians of Heklos" was published.
To date, I have published about 60 different stories, depending on how you count them. I enjoy writing multi-part stories. See "The Succubus," which is in 8 parts and 300 pages. I like to put a little of the supernatural in my stories, so I have erotica which includes angels, succubi, witches, nature spirits, and evil demons who (really!) eat kittens. I also do taboo, some MILF, and very occasionally, FF stories.
I like golfing baseball, college sports, cooking, and working in my yard.
